LatStudios is seeking an experienced, passionate Landscape Architect to join the Lat37 Melbourne team. This position is ideal for candidates with recently established careers looking to be part of a new studio backed by the extensive support from an established, professional and collaborative team.


The Landscape Architect is an integral member of the studio and is required to work with the senior team to assist the production of high-quality proposals, concepts and projects for our clients and for the natural environment. The applicant will be a solid performer in their field with demonstrated communication, technical and design skills.

The Landscape Architect will be representing the business and as such is responsible for externally relating our culture and values to our clients. They will contribute to the studio environment in a participative way and will liaise with the teams nationally to ensure high quality project expectations are achieved.

The Landscape Architect is required to have advanced skills in the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino and or Sketch Up and the Microsoft Office Suite and have experience and knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards. 3D modelling skills would be considered favourably.


The Landscape Architect primarily assists with the development of design, documentation and presentation documents. The Landscape Architect will also have:

  • Qualifications in Landscape Architecture or a closely related field, with postgraduate qualifications
  • In excess of 3 years’ experience working in a Landscape Architectural office
  • High level design skills
  • Experience in project delivery from concept design through design development and production of documentation, as well as experience and knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards and an informed understanding of current trends and best practice
  • Client communication and management skills
  • Proven experience working successfully in a collaborative team environment
  • The ability to prioritise multiple projects and deadlines and manage project involvement under the guidance of the Directors / Project Managers within budgets and time parameters
  • The ability to critically review their own work to achieve exceptional outcomes
  • Advanced skills in the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, AutoCAD, and Sketch Up / 3D modelling software. Note: Advanced Revit skills will be highly regarded.
