LatStudios is currently working on several high-profile and transformative Landscape Architecture and Urban Design projects across Australia and have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Landscape Architect to join our team and contribute to the design, documentation, and delivery of these projects. This position is ideal for candidates with recently established careers who are eager to be part of a studio supported by an extensive, professional, and collaborative team.


The Senior Landscape Architect will be an integral member of the studio. They will work with the senior team to manage complex projects, develop high-quality proposals, establish and maintain client relationships. They will contribute to the studio environment in a participative way, liaising with teams nationally to achieve high-quality project outcomes. The successful candidate will be experienced in their professional field with a proven track record in project management, forming client relationships, and working collaboratively in a diverse team. They will be passionate about contributing to the evolution and design of our cities, communities, and landscapes.

The Senior Landscape Architect primarily assists in the project management, documentation and delivery of Landscape Architecture projects across a range of scales and typologies. To be considered for the role you will have the following:

  • In excess of 4 years’ experience working in a Landscape Architectural office
  • The ability to manage and work collaboratively with Clients.
  • Strong design thinking and communication skills.
  • An informed understanding of current trends and best practice standards in Landscape Architecture.
  • Experience in landscape project delivery - from concept design, through to construction.
  • A solid understanding of landscape technical design requirements and construction standards.
  • Demonstrated financial and project management ability.
  • Experience in staff management, mentoring and development.
  • Proven experience working successfully in a collaborative team environment.
  • A dedication to achieving exceptional design and project outcomes.
  • Advanced skills in the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, AutoCAD, and Sketch Up / Rhino Experience with Revit would be advantageous but is not a requirement.
