Yuan graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Masters of Landscape Architecture. Before joining LatStudios, he gained experience of working on private landscape design in his previous role and built up the knowledge on plant and material selection.

With the background of studying human science in his bachelor’s degree, he values the experience of users and how a well-considered design be able to improve the quality of life both physically and mentally. He believes in the importance of truly understanding the demand and working on user-focused design based on precise site analysis. His graphic skills and modelling techniques allow him to deliver works at different scales and communicate efficiently.
