Detailed knowledge of public transport station design and the importance of intuitive design outcomes adjoining busy public transport nodes was critical for this suite of rail station upgrade projects. Working with Sparc* Architects, Lat27 provided specialist public realm and landscape design services to Queensland Rail for five stations which required refurbishment. A strong focus of these projects was to reconcile inherent DDA and CPTED shortcomings through a detailed refurbishment process, expedited to meet the projects demanding time constraints.
