We were appointed by Latrobe University to prepare a Development Framework for the new town centre of La Trobe University’s primary Melbourne campus in Melbourne’s north.

Prepared in conjunction with SJB Planning, SJB Architects and ASPECT Studios, the purpose of the development framework was to integrate the new town centre with the surrounding character of the campus’s bushland setting to provide vibrant mixed-use places in order to strengthen its local, national and international appeal as a place where ‘all kinds of clever’ come together.

Utilising clear design principles, the Development Plan provides a range of implementable neighbourhoods and development-ready lots that prioritise the health and well being of people through safe and engaging streets and public spaces.
