Project Details
Montague Markets is a lifestyle destination set amongst West End's river precinct that brings a calm energy to a careful blend of residential, retail, wellbeing and dining to one of Brisbane's most eclectic and vibrant suburbs.

The apartments envelope a new public realm designed to enhance the permeability of the former warehouse super lots at a pedestrian scale. A new public plaza forms the heart of the markets and filters pedestrians from Montague Road through an arcade to connect with a new laneway, future apartments and the river beyond.

A subtropical landscape set over ground plane, podium, terrace and rooftop levels aligns with our passion for maximising greenery within urban settings through the retention of existing mature street trees, groupings of advanced trees and palms combined lush companion plantings.

An elliptical pool in an expansive garden setting is central to a series of outdoor recreation and relaxation spaces that links the apartments and settles into the ground floor tree canopies and adjacent ballet school heritage facade.

In contrast to the broader feel of podium, the rooftop offers more intimate solo, couple and small group gathering settings that optimises city skyline and Mt Coot-tha panoramas under another or the mature tree plantings.
