Project Details
Brisbane City Council's Norman Creek 2026 is a project of ambitious scope and scale in a strategic master plan for the entire catchment of this highly urbanised waterway.

Transformational planning of this nature and scale, such as is occurring in cities like Singapore and Seoul, demands in equal measure political will, community support, inter-disciplinary creativity and demonstrable built outcomes. The Master Plan establishes clear goals, objectives, priorities and sequencing to manage corridor growth within known constraints such as flooding and poor waterway health. The overarching aim is to achieve improved liveability, community building, and more resilient and healthy waterways within an urban context.

LatStudios, as part of a wider consultant team, contributed our expertise in urban design and public realm design in the context of a water smart, sub-tropical community.
