The planting design for The Calile Hotel builds on the James Street precinct's distinctive style and character.
Working collaboratively with the architects Richards and Spence, pockets of plants were integrated at every level of the building, its façade and roof tops to provide opportunities for plants to climb and cascade; creating texture and interest from every viewpoint. The carefully curated planting palette adds richness to the architecture and is ever evolving.
