Associate, Registered Landscape Architect

Haiku is a registered landscape architect and urban farmer with a passion for the health and vitality of communities and the landscapes and ecosystems they inhabit. She is experienced in the design and delivery of resilient landscape architecture projects, with a focus on creating a rich diversity of public spaces. She views landscape architecture as a platform to initiate public life, community connection and ecological awareness within our urban and natural landscapes.

Collaborating with our indigenous community is one of Haiku’s passions. She has experience working with artists and storytellers to reveal and express the indigenous connection to a site and country.

In the past 10 years Haiku has practiced across multiple areas of landscape architecture including sub-tropical plazas and infrastructure projects in south east Queensland; urban ecological design and public art projects in Copenhagen, Denmark; and more recently, she has designed and delivered public realm upgrades, playgrounds, and gardens throughout Victoria. Haiku has experience in managing projects through their lifecycle, from initial concept ideas, through to detailed design, tender documentation and contract administration.

Haiku is a sessional tutor at the University of Melbourne in Landscape Detailed Design.
