As part of advocacy to government and profiling the profession, AILA has been contacting State MPs about AILA award winning projects in their electorate. Last week, Lat27 (Wendy Davies & John Ilett) met with Tim Nicholls Member for Clayfield and Cr David McLachlan for a tour of the Kingsford Smith Drive Upgrade with AILA Queensland and Brisbane City Council.

We look forward to the AILA National Landscape Architecture Awards in October where Kingsford Smith Drive Upgrade is in the running for a National Award in the Infrastructure category.
