Lat27 was engaged by Economic Development Queensland to provide concept design, detailed plans of development, a landscape master plan and public realm design for a new residential neighbourhood in Roma. Clearview Rise is a 24ha Priority Development Area (PDA) ideally located adjacent to the Roma Hospital and approximately 1.5 kilometres from the Roma Town Centre.

The neighbourhood will ultimately comprise of approximately 300 new dwellings of various housing types to suit a range of lifestyles and buyer affordability. The quality of housing and public realm will play a key role in the creation of community pride. In addition to the upgrading of an existing park, new open spaces will be established to provide a variety of recreation settings.

Our planning and design approach supported EDQ’s goal of providing affordable housing in regional locations in a manner which demonstrates sustainability and best practice neighbourhood design.
